We take very seriously the Health / Safety & Welfare of our Employees, Customers and the General Public who may come into contact with our activities, this is of the utmost importance to our business.
George Green ensures that all matters relating to health and safety are re-evaluated and, wherever possible, improved upon. This philosophy of continual improvement is the key to our excellent health and safety record.
Method Statements & Risk assessments for activities such as lifting, site work etc. are carried out by trained personnel within our business and all employees are encouraged to be proactive in minimising risk within the workplace.
More and more emphasis is being placed on employers to comply with health and safety regulations such as, PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998), LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) to name but a few.
George Green accept our responsibility towards our employees and in the spirit of health and safety train all our employees to comply with most environments, all contracts are fully monitored with method statements and risk assessments identifying risks in the workplace and more specifically onsite.
All equipment is fully checked, certified and rigorously checked for defects. We are constantly improving our own safety procedures to suit the ever changing working environment.
